Project Details
The Joriki brand is built around celebrating the artistry of textiles from cultures around the globe and their ability to tell the story of their people across time. Creating for Joriki is about rediscovering ancient techniques and introducing these rich designs to a new audience to raise awareness of these cultural practices and connect the future to the past.
Responsibilities include intense research of cultural history and indigenous print techniques and execution, print concept development, art direction, trend analysis, mood board creation, color story development, free hand and digital illustration, textile creation for conventional and digital print techniques, flat sketch, CAD illustration, linesheet creation, embroidery design, and screen print separation.
